Founded in 2003, the Unidos Elementary Band composed of fourth and fifth grade students is one of the only elementary level wind ensembles in Clayton County. The band meets several days a week after school to learn about technique, practice and ensemble performance of flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. Thanks to individual’s generous donations of musical instruments, the band continues to provide Unidos students with an elementary introduction to musical performance

Fundada en 2003, la Banda Musical Primaria Unidos compuesta por estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado es uno de los únicos conjuntos eólicos de nivel elemental en el Condado de Clayton. La banda se reúne varios días a la semana después de la escuela para aprender sobre la técnica, la práctica y la interpretación en conjunto de flauta, clarinete, saxofón, trompeta y trombón. Gracias a las generosas donaciones individuales de instrumentos musicales, la banda continúa proporcionando a los estudiantes de Unidos una introducción elemental a la interpretación musical.

 Vision: 

The purpose of the Young Entrepreneurs Initiative (YEI) is to equip, empower, inform, and encourage school age youth between grades 3^rd - 8^th, in the area of financial literacy and core life skills. 

Visión:

El propósito de la Iniciativa de Jóvenes Emprendedores (YEI, por sus siglas en inglés) es equipar, empoderar, informar y alentar a los jóvenes en edad escolar entre los grados 3ro y 8vo, en el área de la responsabilidad financiera y las habilidades básicas para la vida. 

Mission: 

The mission of (Young Entrepreneurs Initiative) YEI is to teach/inform elementary and middle school age students how money works and to become financially responsible.  We will accomplish this through hands on instruction, group setting, special guest speaker/instructors and with field trips to local businesses and financial institutions within the metro area. While teaching students the history of money and the financial markets.

La misión de (Iniciativa de Jóvenes Emprendedores) YEI es enseñar/informar a los estudiantes en edad primaria y media cómo funciona el dinero y llegar a ser financieramente responsables.  Lo lograremos a través de la instrucción práctica, la configuración de grupos, oradores/instructores invitados especiales y con excursiones a empresas locales e instituciones financieras dentro del área metropolitana. Mientras se les enseña a los estudiantes la historia del dinero y los mercados financieros.
